...now what?

There is a new poker bill circulating in the United States Congress that would legalize and regulate online poker in the US. YAY! good news, more fish! more money! WOOOOOO! This is what poker players have been waiting for since 2006 (when the UIGEA was passed and sites like PartyPoker left the US player pool)

However, if the bill passes, there would be a 15-month blackout where no online poker would be legal within the United States. UH OH. Noooooo! This means no Full Tilt Poker and no PokerStars for 15 months!!!! fifteen months!?!

I'm pretty sure anyone who reads my blog could not care less, buuuuuut, if you're curious, here is a longer explanation.

I guess a blackout would not cut off my poker playing completely, i could still play on bodog and cereus. However, the ratio of winning players to every losing player would make it more difficult to make the MONIEZ.
