if you're at a baseball game, and the pitcher has a perfect-game going through 6 innings, how would you explain it to a girl that is not familiar with baseball. there have only been 23 in baseball history! and i almost saw my 2nd last friday!  cool grant, no one cares. okayokay

but how would you explain it, what analogy do you use.

the best i could come up with at the time...is you're in Bloomingdales and all of a sudden, there's a special sale where everything is 90% off. like, if you heard that while in the store, your reaction would be like "wooooooooo!

jon said its like going to a concert, and the Beatles show up. not bad, you're going to an event, and it just gets unexpectedly better. like, "wowwwww we just got lucky"

co-worker scott said it's like winning a shopping spree. like being the 100,000th customer and are given a free $hopping spree.

last saturday derek texts me in the morning with this picture and the following texts. he was dj'ing at the Oakley store in downtown SF. he says the "guy on the right" is signing autographs. you mean PABLO SANDOVAL??? world series mvp? you mean that guy??  lol
