the wapanese

the manti te'o story has grossly taken over my life. it's one of the most interesting sports-related articles i've ever read. you know that feeling, when you're reading something really good. and you can't stop, you just want to read faster and faster, but then you realize that you need to slow down because you don't want it to end. that's what happened yesterday. for me, it's definitely the most interesting sports story since Linsanity (how did i not buy any jeremy lin rookie cards? i mean, i was a hugeeeee fan and they were hellllllla cheap!)

my initial reaction was this guy is such a liar. there's too many holes in the story. he can't be that naive.

over the weekend, i watched a couple episodes of the mtv show catfish (it's grossly entertaining, i need to stop). and i just couldn't believe the people on the show. basically, the people on the show have exclusive online relationships with people they think are real. and it turns out, its all a lie/joke.

then i started to change my mind, maybe he really was duped. or maybe he was initially duped, and then got super embarrassed and felt he had to keep the story going.

but then the AZ cardinals player who says he met the gf?
or teammates saying he likes attention and saw holes in his gf story?

i can't make up my mind. but if u put a gun to my head....ugh i think te'o is a liar. i can't even begin to think of all the lies it took to get to this point.  wow

i hope some video leaks on worldstar of te'o confessing to a friend that this is all a fake. man, i'm a sucker for hyped-up events. lets say espn announces that they will have an exclusive interview with te'o on saturnday night, 6pm. ohhhhhhhhh man
