interesting companies that i like to follow:
GOOG- i love all google products including the chromebooks, tablets, chromecast aaaand youtube, just disgusting. they aren't going anywhere. GOOG is up $300, or 44% year-to date. ridiculous
NFLX- netflix is amazing. investor carl icahn bought shares back in 2012 and recently sold most of his position and made over 800 million dollars. low of $50ish to currently over $340. nflx is awesome. i saw that they just added FLIGHT, Olympus has Fallen, and a new Russell Peters comedy special...too good
ZNGA- if online poker comes back to the US, watch out for znga. online poker in new jersey starts this month. i think
FB- facebook will always be interesting to watch. 52-week range of $18-$54. yummy
BAC- bank of america, my baby
AAPL-  google > apple. if i cared about technology and phones, i'd leave the iphone
V- visa just goes up, and up, and up, and up. which i guess makes sense. young people don't use cash and never will
YELP- i use yelp, but i don't like yelp
TWTR-  twitter starts trading on thursday. STS, sell that shit. who knows? i don't know
MCD- mcdonald's is the best right? and now they have the cafe stuff which is basically starbucks, they have smoothies which is basically jamba juice, now they have buffalo wings.
SFXE- SFX entertainment which is a company that produces live electronic music events. serious STS. it's a bubble
KORS- michael kors..something that bothered me a smidge. they make very nice women's watches. and let's be real, of all the girls that you know, ages 15-25, how many of them own a michael kors watch. 40-50%?? or, of all girls 15-25 who own a watch, what % of those have a KORS watch? like 75%??
those were so damn popular (they're nice, i'm not hating). i don't know, there's other stuff to it. but still. KORS is up $28 or 55% in 2013.
