cross sport odds

i'm not a big boxing fan. but i really like big hyped-up events. i watched every showtime All-access episode following floyd mayweather and robert guerrero. before the fight, i was pretty excited to watch. (fyi, mayweather closed as a -600ish favorite, according to 5d). it wasn't thaaat interesting, but mayweather is a beast. i like him

2-3 years ago, i really didn't like him. he was cocky/arrogant/annoying,  you name it.
i couldn't understand how anyone can root for someone like him. how can you like someone who burns $100 dollar bills in clubs just because he can. somewhat disgusting

but then i realized, yes, he is a bit crazy and over the top? but how is he supposed to act? he is the highest paid athlete in the world. he has never lost a fight. undefeated. and it's boxing.  there's no one in the world that can beat him up. how are you supposed to act when you KNOW that you can beat up every person in any room that you enter. he's extremely smart. and i know i'm not saying anything groundbreaking, but he's a salesman. he's interesting. people love him, and people hate him, and those people are going to pay to watch him. he's an entertainer. i don't give a crap about the sport of boxing. but if mayweather if involved, i'm definitely interested.

here are some sports fight odds:
zach randolph    -200
blake griffin       +150

zach is a beast, blake is too pretty. i feel like if you put them in a room and told them to fight. zach would say "OK" and blake would say something like "why?" or "nah man". that's everything

nate robinson     -200
me jon jt scott    +150

we were all watching game 4? together where nate goes crazy in the 4th quarter. and i asked if us 4 could take nate. the general consensus was no. but i'm not quite sure. yea he's a beast, but we have 4 brains. i'm thinking all jt does is bear hug him, and the other 3 just attack yolo style

tiger woods   +120
kobe             -180

oh god, the main event. both ultra competitive. kobe 3 years younger. i'm giving the edge to mamba, and i don't know why
